چکیده
The structure and electrochemical characteristics of composites based on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) manganese oxide with the addition rhenium has been studied. It shown that decorating MWCNT surface layers or nanoparticles (Mn(III) + Mn(IV)) provides more than a twofold increase in value specific capacitance at low potential scan rates. However, only exhibit poor behavior decreases rapidly increasing rate due to limitation diffusion processes. significantly increases their properties changes chemical composition morphology composites. Studies state have an improvement is provided by proportion Mn(IV) such composites, which ability completely reverse redox reactions lower electrical resistance values, compared Mn(III) oxide. A detailed analysis voltammetric data showed capability can also be availability electrode for electrolyte ions amount charge stored formation double electric layer.

Graphene versus Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes for Electrochemical Glucose Biosensing
: A simple procedure was developed for the fabrication of electrochemical glucose biosensors using glucose oxidase (GOx), with graphene or multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). Graphene and MWCNTs were dispersed in 0.25% 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and drop cast on 1% KOH-pre-treated glassy carbon electrodes (GCEs). The EDC (1-ethyl-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide)-activated GOx...
متن کاملInvestigation of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes as Electrochemical Electrodes
Individual multi-walled carbon nanotubes were investigated for their usefulness as nanoscale electrochemical electrodes. The nanotubes were mounted on metal-coated atomic force microscopy tips, and the assembly was insulated with Parylene polymer. Approximately 200nm of the nanotube tip was exposed by use of a laser so the entire probe could be immersed in an electrolytic solution with only the...
متن کاملElectrochemical Analysis of Tryptophan using a Nanostructuring Electrode with Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes and Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide Nanocomposite
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were immobilized on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) to form a MWCNTs-CTAB nanocomposite-modified electrode. The electrocatalytic response of the modified electrode towards tryptophan (Trp) was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The surface...
متن کاملReagentless electrochemical biosensor based on the multi-wall carbon nanotubes and nanogold particles composite film.
A novel method was used to prepare the nano-composite by assembling nanogold (NG) particles on the multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) surface. The nano-composite could be immobilized on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode to get a novel modified electrode. The electrode can easily immobilize the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) molecules to construct a reagentless biosensor. The NG particles in the comp...
متن کاملElectrochemical xanthine biosensor based on zinc oxide nanoparticles‒ multiwalled carbon nanotubes‒1,4-benzoquinone composite
Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs), multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and 1,4benzoquinone (BQ) dispersed in chitosan (CS) matrix were used to construct a xanthine biosensor. Xanthine oxidase (XOx) was immobilized onto BQ-MWCNTs-ZnO–CS composite modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) using glutaraldehyde as the crosslinking agent. The parameters of the construction process and the experimenta...
